Welcome!  I am a makeup artist/hair stylist based in greater Salt Lake City with a passion for transforming actors into their roles, and elevating people into their visual best.  I focus on nuance, time-tested technique, and luminous complexions as I relentlessly pursue excellence.  All this while surrounded by the magic of filmmaking!

Something transformative happens as I watch movies and surrender to the story.  These experiences drew me to the theater, and ultimately to studying film at Brigham Young University.  Serendipity clarified my path when I took makeup classes. That is where I discovered the power of makeup to visually express the characters in the stories... and my niche in the world of filmmaking!  After working in the industry for several years I expanded my skills at Salt Lake Community College, and received an AAS in Barbering-Cosmetology. 

 

I support productions and storytelling with my craftmanship, while fostering an environment that helps the talent to relax and tap into their confidence.  That opens the door to exceptional performances. In this process I have the good fortune of collaborating with remarkable people--high level achievers, celebrities, and people who live their stories under the radar.
